Working together, most of the Autumn 2011 Semester at Sea voyage joined the 10 minute ”Freedom is my name; wavin’ the flag” lip dub which has been posted on You Tube, Digg, and Reddit, described by Dave Eng in an earlier post, 280,. Students, faculty, staff, “Little Squirts” (the 24 children on the voyage) and “Salty Dogs” (many of the 60 lifelong learners, crew members, and even Captain Jeremy Kingston participated throughout the ship for the final videographing performance, waving many different national flags, and lip syncing the music. After its completion, it was shown many times on the ship television monitors throughout the ship.

Thank you for your overwhelming responses to and support of the
new Semester at Sea “lip dub” video. No matter the year you sailed or the ship
you sailed on, this piece from the Fall 2011 voyage seems to capture the spirit
of the Semester at Sea experience and bring to life the vibrant, diverse, and
special community that is formed on every SAS voyage.
Good news: More than 20,000 people watched this video in the
first 48 hours it was posted. This is by far the greatest response we have
had to any online video to date and we want to keep the momentum
going.
Our request: please share the video link below with your
friends, family, co-workers, and contacts. Share the video via the
social media sites below or put it in an email. To share on Facebook or Twitter,
simply cut and paste the link below into a post or status update.

It seems to me that you still haven’t submitted the recommendation letter to UCD. The application system showed that your status still in progress.
